Hypermobility

Children with hypermobility have increased flexibility in their joints, which can sometimes lead to pain, fatigue, clumsiness, or difficulty with coordination. While being extra flexible isn’t always a concern, some children may struggle with muscle weakness, joint instability, or delayed motor skills.

At The Children’s Physio Ireland, our paediatric physiotherapists provide tailored exercises to improve strength, balance, and coordination, helping children move with confidence and reduce discomfort. We also offer practical advice on posture, activity modification, and joint protection to support their everyday activities.

If your child experiences pain, fatigue, or coordination challenges due to hypermobility, get in touch—we’re here to help!

**If this is your first time attending the clinic or it has been a year since your last visit please make sure you book in for an initial assessment and not a follow-up appointment.**
